The beautiful villages of Lacock and Castle Combe are just a few minutes drive away and have both been the setting of many films including War Horse and numerous period dramas. Our own house has featured 2 years in a row now on Sky TV. This really is a beautiful home in a particularly pretty part of the world.

There are two village pubs serving great food and the town of Corsham, which has shops, cafes and restaurants is only a short drive away.

On the top floor is the master bedroom with its own bathroom and the 1st floor has one double, one twin and one single bedroom with a family bathroom with separate shower and bath.

Check-in details, house manual and local tips were really fantastic and made everything really simple and Dan/David responded very quickly to queries. Wickham Cottage was lovely, set in a really beautiful village. Suited the 7 of us staying there really well. Would recommend the White Horse pub 2 doors up for lunch and drinks! - Catherine

This house is wonderful! Had a friends get together to celebrate a birthday here and it was perfect. All the rooms were beautifully presented and the village is lovely. Plenty of space in the common areas for 7 adults (with a couple sat on the floor). The two baths went down particularly well! Cosy in the winter, can only imagine how nice the garden would be in the summer. Try the White Horse pub next door for some very friendly service. - Abigail

A wonderful cottage in a picture postcard Cotswolds village. Good for long walks in the country, pub lunches, a short day trip to Bath and surrounding area. Katie and Dan are very responsive to messages and the cottage has everything we needed. - Natalia

My family and I had a fabulous weekend staying at this house. We were attending a local wedding and didn't want a hotel with a 4 week old baby! It was perfect for us, in a stunning location, the sun even came out for us so we could make use of the garden. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone. - Angela

Cottage was very sweet - even nicer in the flesh, and the small hamlet it's in is gorgeous and picture postcard. There's a lovely garden, a great pub next door, and close to beautiful towns. - Shehani
