The Hideaway is a pretty, quiet, relaxing, cosy retreat for up to 4 people, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cotswold Way. At 700 feet up it has incredible far-reaching views across to the Welsh Hills. Bath is a quick drive away (less than 10 minutes) & there are many lovely walks in the immediate area. There's a balcony to the front (perfect for morning coffee) & a garden to the side, a fully-equipped kitchen, wood-burner with wood supplied & everything you could need for a quiet, cosy getaway. Very easy access from the M4 too.
The Hideaway was once a workshop where horse rugs were made until about 10 years ago. Since then, it has been fully insulated, clad in larch shiplap and roofed with cedar shingles and made into a lovely home with all the modern home comforts and fully-equipped for your holiday comforts and conveniences.
Minimum 3 night stay.
We stayed at The Workshop for 3 nights from 2nd December. The Workshop is quietly situated, comfortable, well equipped, thoughtfully decorated and provided a first class place to stay to enable us, primarily, to visit Bath Christmas Market. It was a swift journey to the park and ride thence to Bath itself via a 20 minute coach ride. In addition to Bath, there is so much to visit in the surrounding area, yet The Workshop provides a bolthole away from the bustle. We would recommend The Workshop to anyone who likes, peace, comfort and a superb view. - Debbie
